I've been looking around numerous of sites so far, but are there any leads on to when the ralliart is coming out?

Hm its called the 09 ralliart so I assumed end of the summer beginning of fall, but as we know mitsubishi still has yet to release the MR and likes to DELAY -___-

I've heard mid-late summer. I just assume it'll be in September because that's about the time most new models typically surface.

Lets hope it is sooner though! I like the idea of this car vs. the EVO to MUCH better compete with the Subies

I'd love to see PERRIN's work on a Ralliart. So this excites me especially when it comes to hearing the SST can take and estimate 50 more hp over the EVO X's base numbers.

Yeah we fully intend to carry the parts over to the non-EVO cars now that Mitsu offers them. (Like we do on the Subi front. Not just the STi but the others as well.)

Hey guys, first post here. I'll also be looking at the ralliart when it comes out. I drive an 04 nissan sentra spec-v now and only have about 2 years left on the loan. I have wanted awd and turbo for about 10 years now and am excited about this car. Although I'll have to compare it to the wrx, camaro, mustang, genisis coupe, and solstice coupe. I know a bunch of rwd's in there. I'll have to decide if I can put up with rwd in the winter for a couple months in NW Ohio and also gas prices, insurance, ect.

Well i dont know how the RalliArt will do, but my Evo eats just as much gas as my Camaro SS.

I was lookin at websites n I ran into a review of the Ralliart it was posted in Sept. 4, 2008 n what really caught my attention was a special sentence....."Fast forward to this week’s rollout of the Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart edition.".....Does this mean the ralliarts coming out very very soon?!

Ralli-art has hit NZ as of 2 weeks ago. not to sure about the pricing chosen however. It is being sold for NZ$46,000. ( I bought my GSR for $62999 not incl options).. ( this is the sedan, the hatch is about 3 months away)

Used evo X's are already down to 46 and 47K .. so you could get a brand new ralliart for 46K or a used X with 6000 kms on the clock for 47K.. ( NZ$)... I know what I would pick.

“This is not a detuned Evo engine. It’s a stepped-up Lancer engine,” says Mitsubishi Product Planning Manager Brian Arnett. Mitsubishi set this engine up with their own popular TD04 single-scroll turbocharger, also used by Subaru in the WRX. The Evolution, by contrast, uses the twin-scroll Mitsubishi TD05 turbo. The Ralliart also receives a smaller intercooler than the Evo, and different engine programming.


What this says to me is that Mitsubishi has left a lot of power conveniently in reach of the aftermarket tuner, if you want it. But after driving the Ralliart, I have to say it would be a shame to unbalance the car by upgrading the power without also upgrading the suspension, brakes, and so on. And at that point, why not just buy an Evo and get all that stuff right up front with a warranty?

Wow this article is going to piss off some people at Evom. They have been arguing for three months how the Ralliart is a Detuned EVO and they are going to turn them into Evo's with just a tune. :rolleyes:

It's a glass 1/2-empty, 1/2-full question in some ways. But I'm surprised they're talking about the engine that way since earlier they said it was identical to the Evo except for the intercooler and single-scroll turbo (and ECU programming, of course). To me that makes it a detuned Evo engine in an upgraded GTS body.

Ditto on the Request..... Got the money burning to buy the T-case adapter... and would love to buy from you. Spoke to Tatoo..as well... no release date yet.. just to hold out a few weeks if possible.
