I'm looking at a handful of intakes right now and am leaning towards the AMS. I saw and heard TRUST's over the weekend and that was enough to make me want it.

What intakes are you all looking at? Any specific reason?

If I missed an intake choose other and list it below.

I am getting a Buschur intake filter kit. Than when they come out with the MAF pipe I'll eventually get that.

I think i am going to end up with the AMS intake... it looks really clean, and its proven itself on the dyno. I like the looks of the piping and just don't want to throw a filter on the end of the MAF sensor housing.

Well, I'd like to say K&N, but they haven't done an Evo since like '05. Maybe if everyone slams their site with suggestions, they might do something.

I'm getting the intake from Ultimate Racing.

i will wait to have a HKS intake set up , with A'pexi cone. unless the HKS come out with a decent filter, because they filters are sucks big time.

Also position far from engine (suck colder air than others)

I just purchased the HKS dropin (cost me $32) why i wait for all the companies to come out with all their products and there is plenty R&D. I want good fit and finish

Cobb's intake looks so good. Their whole product line up looks so good, but I couldn't wait for the hard pipes.

I rather get a drop in, HKS all the way.

Colt speed one cost about 1600 from what I understand though, but it is dead sexy

Can get the HKS dropin and get the same power as all the intakes are quoting right now. 12-16hp and it only cost me $40 shipped and everything. I just dropped it in today took me less than 30 secs literally. Took me longer to open the fedex package. HKS claim seem what they should be not over inflated or MBC enhanced

It should be out by the end of june. Retails for about $680

wow, thats expensive as hell!!! Is it worth it? I heard bad thinks about the ARC box in evo 8/9 forums!!!

AEM intake is hot. D7 got it, and i'm tempted to pull the trigger and get it also.

End of October is very ouch :/

you went with ARC cause you could really feel the difference? did they let you test fit and drive it before you droped 600 on it?

Going with ETS since they're local and do huge business with my brother in law, plus I'm getting their IC kit aswell, so why not have the car match? Plus it all looks really clean! Get to install it hopefully on tuesday!

I went with the AGP CAI. Car picks up some really nice gains, but you need to tune the car after putting it on because of how much it leans the fuel ratio out. Also gives the BOV a nice sound. I will get a sound clip up when I get a chance.
