Played around with it on a friend's machine...I think I'm going to wait until 8.10. Plus I run KDE, so Kubuntu is for me! :)

ive been running it on my laptop, i have a few things against it.
the new firefox sucks, im not positive on this but im pretty sure we were able to use flock in 7.10. flock is much better imo. and i have some annoying issue with my scroll pad, when i scroll with it (in firefox) the page doesnt stop when i want to, like an inconveniant kinetic iphone type thing.
once i can afford my new pc ill run it on there for sure, that will take a while though...might not get it untill 8.10 is released in october. the thing i liked best about installing it was it took maybe 10 minutes, and it was nice to see they put in a real walpaper. but the big deal for me was i didnt have to install any drivers, compiz worked fine emidiatly, and kiba dock seemed to work much better too.
i hate vista with a passion but i can not stand using firefox ( especialy now that with the new version i cant even use my favorite themes ), or that epiphany thing because that sucks just as bad. but that scrolling thing has pushed me back to windows, if i can install a good webrowser im good to go lol
