Thats not the point at all, at least not mine. Most evo owners debadge there cars, this guy has put a monster Evolution sticker on a lancer. Why not a GT-R sticker or someother such faggotry? This is the kind of thing that should be discouraged because in my mind its no different than a civic with fart cannon and a type-r sticker. If you want to make a Lancer perform like an Evo thats awesome, you spend your money how you like and make a mean sleeper or whatever. When you try to pass of an economy car as a $32k+ sports car, ESPECIALLY with only cosmetic mods, you are up to your balls in rice. Listen man, I have nothing against the regular Lancer at all. I just have a problem with people putting emblems, badges, & stickers on their car associating with a different model.
But hey, in the end, it is your car and you can do what you like to it. We're just giving our opinions.
Better to hear it from us than have people later down the line pointing and laughing at you in traffic.

Other than the decals, the car looks ok. As with others, not my cup of tea. My love for body kits and such ended over a decade ago. As you get a little older, your taste towards these cars starts changing and you start appreciating the OEM look Mitsubishi has blessed us with.

Hi All, first and foremost, Thanxs for all the comments being put up. Its indeed an experience to listen first hand suggestions and opinions.

Well, juz to share with you that I am not pushing it to looks like an Evo but I like the word and thats all abt it. As for the bumper, i can't help it if it meant to look like an Evo but somehow i like the design and purchase it. As for my side skirt, I had to replaced my damaged one and so I happen to know my friend had left it in the garage.

End of the day, I am trying to feel comfortable with my vehicle. Again, I appreciate your comments. Hope no hard feelings for bros out there. I am not obligated to explain to everyone but at this point in time, its best I juz want to clarify them.

P/s I will be removing the "banner" soon for the clean look. ;)

I had removed the customised eyelids which alots of bros here were so Put off with it. After removing it, I was like "Hell Yeah Baby!!" For those who did not know what I meant, look for the first page of this thread. I had covered the Evo "Nose" with the 3M dry carbon vinyl wrap for the matt finish. theres a kit that they make for the regular lancer that makes it as fast as the regular evolution.. its a turbo kit and i think its around 3k...

I like it. Very creative and original. Who cares if it's a regular lancer because it still look nice. Better than some "Riced" out evos i've seen on here. This is coming from a bone stock evo owner.

Either way man, looks sweet, couldn't tell it was a lancer until I looked real closely and saw no inter cooler in the front and no brembo brakes.

As for everyone else saying "Why didn't you just buy the real thing." I get why he chose the gts and modded it. It is cheaper .. a base model GTS (Canadian prices) starts at 24,000$. A GSR starts at 42,000$ (or 52,000$ considering hes going for the MR spoilerless look).


That is 18,000- 28,000$ saved. Sure he could of bought an older evolution. BUT.. maybe he is a young kid and can't offered the insurance or gas? Maybe he liked the look of the newer evo's and just wanted that without all the Muscle. Either way.. he did a good job on the car, I had to look twice at the car to see it was just a lancer. If he fixes the rear up and puts some brembo brakes on or something.. you are going to have to look at the octagon gas cap or lack of intercooler to tell its not an evo. :thumbup:
