: 5zigen ZZ exhaust

i ordered a 5zigen exhaust and a Agency power intake today. Anyone have any experience with the 5zigen? I'm a little worried it will be loud?

Shouldn't be too loud... I just worry about the power gains since it is split into a 'T' like the stocker.

Best performance option would prolly be a single outlet. Dual exhaust is only helpful when you have more than one exhaust manifold or header (V6 [as opposed to L6] V-8, etc), otherwise, its just extra weight. I think I'm going with the Greddy or perhaps wait for a butterfly valve option from APEXi.
It also depends on how far you want to go with the exhaust, do you need to pass an emissions test? etc.
It sounds like you're just going catback, but also available is high flow cat or test pipe (test pipe will not pass inspection and doing anything to the cat will likely void your warranty), and you could also do the dropdown pipe for even more gain & weight loss.

picked it up today. installing the factory ero kit & aluminum brake lever and shift nob. Have agency intake coming & i think i am going to get the buschur catback on order tomorrow.

i have the 5zigen pro racer zz and UR Metal Sub HFC. when idling and cruising, u wont hear any different from stock, only when you push the car you can hear the deep tone inside. from outside the sound is noticeable but not too loud. the catback weight about 35lbs as i measured, like 8 lbs less from stock. the quality is A+, the only bad thing is the center pipe only 60.5mm comparing HKS and other like 65mm and 70mm. it wont deliver as much power. but on dyno this exhaust was proven 4-5whp and tq (i talked to 5zigen). if you want max power go for single end but expect its gonna be LOUD. for dual, any 3" would be louder than the 5zigen. the reason why i got it because i want quiet/comfort and it was used, like new tho, i got it for 300 local pick up lol and it looks good from outside too. also the midpipe has resonator that makes it quiet and it is very straight, not much restriction which is good.

if you not gonna get big turbo, cam etc..., and stage 2 is enough for u, also u want something quiet, this is the one for you. if you getting this new, IMO the price is a bit too high. u can probably get a perrin w/ same price and turboxs is cheaper.
