CHICAGO, IL -- After immense anticipation following confirmed appearances at Coachella Music Festival in California and Rock The Bells Festival dates in New York and California, Live Nation announced today that RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE will perform a concert at ALPINE VALLEY MUSIC THEATRE in East Troy, Wisconsin on Friday, August 24th. This performance will be the band's only Midwest appearance.
Tickets for the Alpine Valley Music Theatre concert will go on sale on Saturday, June 16th at 10 a.m. Ticket prices are $60.00 for reserved pavilion and general admission lawn seating and will be available at the Alpine Valley Box Office, all Ticketmaster locations, charge by phone at (312) 559-1212 or online at www.livenation.com and www.ticketmaster.com.
After 7 years, original RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE band members Zack de la Rocha, Tom Morello, Tim Commerford, and Brad Wilk reunited on stage at Coachella Music Festival in Indio, California on April 29th, sparking rumors of additional performances. These rumors were soon confirmed, as the band announced additional festival appearances at the Rock The Bells festival dates in New York, San Francisco, and San Bernardino.
The announcement of the Alpine Valley Music Theatre concert today marks the band's sixth appearance of the summer and their only Midwest appearance. It is also the band's only non-festival concert.
QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE join the bill and respectfully request that you shake that ass. Era Vulgaris, the band's fifth studio album, hits the streets on June 12th.
