I think the 911 started a bit early on the 2nd race.

I dont think that its so much that the Porche left early but the GTR left late. But its clear that the GTR is superior

thats a sick gtr, i never seen someone sprying nitrous on their pipe to cold down the motor.

Awesome video.

Um, quickly cooling hot metal/aluminum weakens the metal and could cause it to fail. Not worth it...

They were cooling down the pipes from the intercooler to the intake manni.

how effective would it be? it doesnt sound bad if we can do it in ours cars. Cooling down our uicp will help i will think.

If your at the drag strip it would be effective I'd say. Spray on the IC and LICP so its freezing to the touch and it will really drop the temps through the intake mani!

I was thinking the exact same thing. A hot motor being suddenly cooled is really not the brightest idea.

this is true but spraying it acrost the intercooler or intercooler pipe would not cause damage... people drop ice on motors and turbos to cool them down...i did it with a few of my cars and so far no problems although ur point is correct .

CO2 spraying the intercooler intake pipes or ice on intake main has been done for decades.
