What's up fellas?!

Well on February 7th I will go from being a Hawaii Evo X guy to an Oklahoma City Evo X guy. So uhh what should I expect?? By the end of the year I'm gonna be selling the car and trying to get an 09 M3 but I might as well get some inside info from a trusted source, you guys!

How is the weather lately? My car is there already with Nitto NT555s on it. Should I be worried about winter weather at all?

I'm gonna be stationed at Tinker btw... lookin to get a decent place WITH A GARAGE as a must! found a few so far but pickins are slim for what I get for housing allowance at $800, any help there would be appreciated also.

I'm excited to get to a new place and slay some new chicks.

...also, any good tint shops in the area? I've been putting tint off forever and it's about time I just do the damn thing. Tint and Ralliart tails will probly be the last thing I get for this car.

As much as I hate to say it, u might be out of luck with the Evo Scene in OKC. Get ready for the truck capital of the world. The city isn't too bad, but for the most part any part storesyou find will be online. Everywhere else you'll get shotty work at best- and others that just don't know what to do with the X. On the flip side, at least you have a Beamer to look forward to. As for tint, most anyonecould hook you up, except there very strict on the laws for tint so I dont know if that matters at all. Other than that, welcome to freezing snowy winters and hot as he'll summers filled with tornado watches and crazy hail storms!

Yeah I'm not too worried about the scene. I'm tryin to get out of the scene when I get the bimmer. And the weather is one of the main reasons I NEED a garage.

Should I worry about my Nittos for the rest of this winter or what?

To be honest, I think the worst has passed as far as the weather goes. If anything you Nittos might take a beating from all of the shitty roads that theynever do construction on. I'm sure you'll be fine though. In all seriousness, there are alot of luxury cars ( Porsche, BMW, Ferrari, Aston Martins) that seem to do okay despite the weather and road conditions. A garage is a must tho

Ok good to hear. I wanna buy a beater as soon as I get there so I can sell the evo and start saving for the M3.

I'm gonna need to get all the tips on where the young single chicks hang out cuz from where I've been lookin the decent places with garages are in super family oriented areas. I'll make do.

Sky Bar in bricktown is filled up with chicks whenever I went.
The SCCA in okc would be worth checking out they have a course at the sheriffs faciliy neat track. Also you will notice okc can look pretty flat but theres nice curvey roads out of the city and near Tulsa.
Btw around Tulsa we are getting all new roads it seams like will be nice when they are threw.

Thanks man. I'll be sure to check out skybar and those twisty roads. I used to have a site with good driving roads by state I gotta find the link again and check out OK.

Ive had no other rubber on my car besides stock but I do like the Nittos. Awesome dry obviously and awesome in the heavy rain we've been getting here in Hawaii lately. My car is purely a dd though so i push it a little but have never tracked it.

Think I'll be having some problems with the weather up there from what I've been hearing and don't want to buy some all seasons for my advans and my stock wheels are still in transit to OK. booo!

yeah right now you would need some mean winter tires to get around. Hopefully you will be here just as everything is melting off.
