Im stuck between two different routes. The spec stage 2 clutch with magnus master cylinder, or a bully clutch with stock master cylinder. I was talking to the guys at bully on the phone and they said with their clutch you wouldnt need to replace the master cylinder, does anyone else have an opinion on if I went with the bully clutch to stick with the stock master or not. Either route I go im going to get my flyweel machined.

Well....considering the stock oem clutch has blown out plenty of master-cylinders, I dont see how the "bully clutch" is going to stop that from happening.
Also, I don't even see the X listed on the BULLY site for applications, so how many X clutches have they sold? Not much out there regarding the use, so why not use a proven commodity.

^^^ I've never even heard of the "bully" clutch. Is anybody running these yet??

Bully was around for a long time they are out of Ottawa. They dont have the clutches listed for the x but they make them. A lot of guys locally run them and love them but no one here has one in an x yet. So I guess I should go with a master cylinder for sure then. Is magnus decent or should I go with something better. Same for the spec should I pick a diff brand. Im reading lots of good and bad stuff about all the diff types of clutches so really stuck on what to purchase. Thanks for the help.

Also only going to be running between 400 and 500 hp I like to drive a little aggresively and do a little autocross. Would like a cluthc that is smooth with good pull.

I think the Clutch Masters 850 twin would be a good choice for the power level you're looking at. I think HollywoodX did a review??

I haven't actually completed a review as of yet, but there are a few ClutchMaster 850 twins out there now and holding plenty of power. A single disk @ 500whp isn't going to last as long and it will not be nearly as smooth. If you dumping that kind of power and racing get the MC upgrade and the twin, you'll regret it if you don't.

Very happy with my ACT HDSS. Still on stock CMC, but will probably get an AMS reinforcement ring sooner rather than later...
