hey all, this is my first psot after just purchasing my new X!!

I've been searching aroung these forums for a month or so and decided that this was gonna be a good car with great potential. This is my first turbo car and I look foward to learning more about my vehicle from these boards. I wont be modding for a while, or atleast until I understand what the mod does.

Can't wait to hit that 500mi. mark and feel the real boost. The manual says the break in period is only 600 miles, which seems like a pretty short break in period... any body reccomend a better mileage before getting on the car?

welcome to the X family!!! have fun!!! the only thing i will recommend is get your oil change once you hit the break in period bout 1000 miles coz i did mine 3000km and it wasnt a good sight when i saw the oil. it was dirty i mean dirty. goodluck!!!

looks like florida plates, in california we have boring plain white plates. florida has oranges on them, which looks like whats on his.

Good guess, I love in South FL close to Ft. Lauderdale. The import scene is quite big here and growing. SCCA does alot down hear and theres a couple of nice drag strips to test and tune at.

I got my GSR basically bonestock. I previously owned an 06 eclipse, which had the RF stereo, and I really enjoyed and reccomeneded it to anyone. For the evo's though, I didn't really have the extra 2K to play with. I do like the larger wing, but Im sure they'll be some seller's down the road.

I'm just so happy to what I've gotten into. The evo family seems alot more mature, technical, and understanding about the performance of their cars. Which is where my main interestes are :)

Nice ride. Like the color. I saw one on the show room floor on Saturday and it took me an hour to decide on the color. I went with Graphite, but I think it is a coin toss. The silver is definitely killer looking in person congrats.
