Parts arrived quickly from Darryl @ Ultimate Racing, were packaged nicely.
I went with the resonated testpipe and downpipe w/ wideband bung.

Welds are awesome, the craftsmanship looks top notch. And also they are much lighter then the stock pieces.

Pre-install (2 weeks ago) I installed my ETS Dual Exhaust. It is loud, deep and mean.
Now that it is mated with the 3" downpipe and resonated test pipe it is much deeper, and isn't quite as loud on the high end. The rumble of the exhaust can be felt from the driver seat.

If you look at the UR testpipe you will notice an angled O2 bung, there solution to a CEL. So far, I have not gotten a CEL.

Installation

To remove the Downpipe, you must remove the stock cross brace under the car, two 12mm bolts, and two 14mm bolts.

Now getting to the spring bolts of the downpipe are a nightmare!
I used a half inch rachet, with a swivel, 4" extender and 8" extender. The bolt on the driverside was quite easy, you can see it and can aim the rachet in and get to it. The passenger side proved to be quite a pain. I found it helpful to have an extra set of hands working above holding the socket in place.

Removal of the 02 sensors on the stock cat and downpipe required quite a bit of elbow grease to get out.

Testpipe was straight forward.

Parts cost $458 shipped, and are well worth the price{thumbup}

Performance gain? dynoed?

Thanks, its cost me a few bucks.
Butt Dyno feels a definite gain, and I noticed a positive change in my fuel economy too!

I wont have my car dyno'd until the 22nd of May.

I was wondering if your new set-up sounds similar to this RRE set-up? I seen this on youtube posted by evopowa, this thing sounds deep and mean. It reminds me of the exhaust tone of an WRX somewhat. Also, when are you getting a new video up with the new set-up? Could you do some drive-bys, idling, and some interior sound clips? Congrats on your all your upgrades and good looking car!!

for you guys who have installed the UR Downpipe and Test pipe how did u guys get the bolts off? tried installing the test pipe yesterday but couldnt get the bolts off and i was using a breaker bar. also how hard was it to install the downpipe
how are you jacking up the car? because from the front everything is plastic so its kinda hard to see/feel anything that we can put the jack on

ROFL - Happened to Kooldino on his. Man was he pissed. We had to end up wiring in an O2 sensor from a Mazda in his parts bin.

it reads well and hasnt given us any issues. Apparently whoever is installing the secondary O2 sensor is crossthreading them.

Bad news is, if you look its hardwired into the harness, which means youre going to have to buy one and hack your original harness. We didnt find a quick connect clip for that sensor.

i just stripped it into one of those o2 sensor extenders then i screwed the extender into the testpipe......works fine.

Damn Talon, you're wasting no time between mods. What does the butt dyno say about these two parts? Do you really feel the difference?

stripped? Or seized? I'd like to know before I switch out mine. If its seized, I can remedy that... but if its stripped, I wont be touching it and Ill let the dealer do it instead so they can warranty it.
