How much does the 48,000km / 30,000mile service cost?

My friend just came back from West Toronto Mitsubishi stealership (starts With D) and they quoted $1200 for the service including the new SST fluid.

WTF!? $1200 I informed (person) to leave and buy the sst fluid from SSP or MAP or Fredbeansparts and tell mitsu to Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu.

However can they fuck (persons) warranty if they don't get the service done at a Mitsu dealer? Should (person) get the service done at a local shop or do the Mitsu rape?

Suggestions? Obviously MITsu corporate thieves monitor my user name so I can't provide better detail...........

Just get it done cheaper at a shop but make sure you have all recepits for parts and service performed. You don't have to do everything at the dealership as long as you have proof that you did it elsewhere. In otherwords, don't DIY anything on your car.
