Just installed the Nisei 1 pc matte black UIP. I love it, it looks so stock. Here are some pictures.

I wonder if most techs at dealerships would even notice.

I have the feeling they won't, atleast not for a while.

Is this fully release? Can you get it polished or just in black?
how much does this cost. I was going to get the AMS, but after seeing this one
it looks so much cleaner as a 1 peice

Clean! Does it use the stock black elbow that comes off of the turbo?

Do you feel any power difference?

Robotix Junior

I'd imagine you would mate

Most of the power to be felt is less lag and consistancy of boost pressure due to less "ballooning" of the IC rubber hoses replaced

uhh..My dealer's tech would notice it for sure. 2 of them have modded evos...lots of mods. Why risk it. Pull your mods.

I do love this black color. I've got the Buscher Upper'/lower pipes and will probably powdercoat it just like it. I'm not a big undedrhood bling guy for the simple reason if I happen to get my hood popped by someone with a badge

It uses the same black elbow. I'll let you know about the power difference today I haven't drove the car since.

You've had a cop look under your hood??? What were they looking for, contraband?

I personally haven't been popped...I know people who have though. The cops were looking for mods. It's a CA tradition for law enforcment in certain areas ie the Sac' Valley

Dino, the car does pull harder I wouldn't be able to give an HP estimate but it's an improvement. Also you can now hear the turbo spool up when the windows are down which is a +.

Nice! The cops down here in Brighton are dropping Cossie's into their estate wagons to try to give them an edge over street racers.

They were doing a limited time first shipment sale in their forums for $199... not sure if they have any of those ones left, but if you email their sales department they are probably selling them now.

I agree; very clean! Looks good if you want to keep a nice but stock look. Guess plastic hasn't grown on me yet and I'm still feeling the polished look. Either way, I embrace more options!

Not plastic, just painted matte black. It comes in the matte black you see there, regular black, polished, and red.

The pipes look great, but Im torn between leaving them polished or powdercoating.

Polished does have the nicer look - but I also enjoy the "sleeper" effect of stock looking parts.

Do you atleast have a boost guage to see how pressure was effected through the RPM range? Id be curious to see if/how much boost is adjusted just by replacing the piping.

I am thinking of powdercoating them gold just for the bling factor. JOKES!

I need to find a place where the gauge looks stock. Until then I'll just do the standard mods and wait until I find a good place to mount the boost gauge.

Hopefully I'll have my stuff set up soon and I can answer that for you.
