Well this is a nice video, I just wish it had a decent driver being represented. I am sure he is going to suck just as bad this season, this guy truly is a "solo closed coarse queen".

I think he meant..."It's going to be another embarrassing year!"

I ALSO don't understand the whole Ken Block hype.

He made like 2 cool YouTube videos and now everyone is all up on him.

I put him in the same category as Danica Patrick. Except she has T&A(somewhat).

I mean, give me free tires, mechanic, free ride basically, and a empty parking lot or air strip and I can make some amazing videos too. I just don't get it, I think it was just one of those viral video things. People even know he is a worthless driver but because of his 3 gymkhanas he is a superstar. So many people know Ken Block but have no clue who Tanner Foust is...I always say "Ken Block is the guy from Youtube" and "Tanner Foust is the race car driver".

I could have sworn tanner won the rally championship here, or somewhere, and ken block didn't. Is Tanner still with rockstar for Formula D? Ken is a figure skater, Tanner is a speed skater, I think thats a pretty good comparison.

HAHAHA nice i like that comparison :)

Put Ken Block in Formula D and lets see how he does.

Haha, hold on...i've got one.

"Ken is a Harlem Globe Trotter, Tanner is a [insert name of good basketball player]" (Sorry, I don't follow B-ball anymore)

You can drive like Ken? I can't. Not even close.

Absofuckinglutely...A weekend with unlimited resources and it would be easy, I just cannot afford the tires on my own or the body repairs. You have to realize...drive your car and don't worry about messing it up at all. That removes a ton of reservation. I have been drifting for years, even before they named it...we just did it like hillbillies on gravel roads in gods country to save the tires. Worst thing that would happen is you end up in a ditch with a busted rear or front clip. :innocent:

<grin> I don't mean pitching the car sideways and keeping it there. I'm talking about the precision. His is rather remarkable. If you can do that, more power to you.

Drifting takes practice, Ken Block's stuff takes practice, Formula D takes some large nuts drifting at like 60+ mph.

Exactly why you don't see Ken Block there... I have attended a few D events and holy crap, at those speeds you better know WTF you are doing or you will cause 5 digit damage numbers easy.

True true, his car also is ungodly awesome. 0-60 in 1.6 seconds is unreal.

You obviously followed the other lambs to the slaughter on this one... Have you not seen his "making of" videos. Sometimes for that 3 minute video that douche went through more than one set of body panels. I am telling you his is fail. Imagine taking all of the highlights from your life and making a 30 second video that makes you look cool...

Yeah, I can't wait till Round 3 this year, cause its I think the first, or since I've known about Formula D at least, is coming to FL.

Formula D drivers do it all the time, the crashing part, we still think they're amazing, I do recall Gittin Jr. really screwing up a car.

Starting to see a trend the more I dig on Youtube. The moment you remove the controlled environment part, he goes to shit...

He looks great in parking lots though! I want to see him attend a few autocrosses and see how well he does, see if his skill carries over as well as it does in real events.

No Ken, you don't take high speed turns backwards...only in Dirt 2.

I would rather watch Samuel or Tanner to be honest. They got where they are by skill not money. Yes, anyone in motorsports racing will have a wreck eventually, even character defining. Ken just seems to personify the old saying...

"Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."

I mean go to see how he really does. It would be funny if he lost his own series.

True...I think he actually had down syndrome but he had plastic surgery to make it less obvious. He should actually be serving french fries at McDonalds. :bowlol:

He's the only American in WRC that has... a publicist. They want to promote rally in the US because we're too stupid to know about it, but it's a fucking awesome motorsport.

Yes it is... I wish I could flip over on Speed and watch Americans rally racing instead of freakin' Nascar.

If he was better and winning I think it would help promote the sport better :(

We gotta get Tanner off drifting and onto WRC
