pbevox 02-18-2011, 02:26 AM brandyn - looking good!!! How is the visibility changed out the driver's side window/windshield with that gauge pod? I was thinking bout getting the same one for my car once I get some more :$:.
brandyn 02-18-2011, 02:38 AM honestly it makes it a bit harder i find that both sides are bad for blind spots!!! but the gauge pod makes the driver side a bit worse but i could careless lol

I actually favor that location where the two gauges/pod are located underneather the HVAC controls. :) if and when i do get gauges, i might consider this route...

if you do decide to go with this location, do NOT get the Summit racing pod. instead go for the glowshift one from amazon. its $9, looks stock and it fits perfectly without any tape or screws, just push it in and it stays!

PapaVolume 02-22-2011, 12:22 AM good thread. im ready to start doing up my interior. been searching for the right fabric i want for the door panel inserts lately. i want probably either alcantara or some type of sport mesh.
blonde 02-22-2011, 12:28 AM so, what am i looking for as far as my search or keywords go on amazon?
there you go buddy. this is the one i have and honestly, i am shocked at how OEM it looks and fit without any tape or screws :)

bradze 02-22-2011, 12:30 AM yes it will stay like that, but i chose to angle mine so gauges can be read easier, this is why i thought securing with screws was necessary

well i am only using it as a temporary solution so i didn't want to drill anything just yet.
Should I just get a gauge pod, or go for the clean look and get maybe hks camp 2?
I have a JVC head unit it can be displayed on.

well, if you want to look at your AFR, camp won't help you for example.
mindovaanything 12-05-2011, 08:35 AM MOOOAAARR!!
I want to see more gauge setups, shift knobs/boots, seats, harnesses, door inserts, radar detectors, audio, etc.
Is there anyone else who really hates how the pillars and headliner are grey and the rest is black? I see this on soooo many cars and it bugs the hell out of me. Why the two tone I want it all blacked out.
Here are the three threads I posted, I'll do a new one when I do front seats and center console.
