CBRDSpeedfactory has just informed us that there is a poor orphaned 1 piece hot charge pipe (aka UICP) in need of a home. We here at EvoXForums know that there is a good home out there somewhere for this 1 piece hot charge pipe. In order to find the best home possible we will be taking applications (Contest submissions) to find the best home possible for our orphan.

How will we choose? Easy, we're going to look at your engine bay. This is going to be the "home" for your 1 piece hot charge pipe. So we will need to see pictures of it cleaned, detailed, and welcoming for this new addition to your car. Show us you are "worthy parents". Be creative.

Entry deadline is April 15, 2011. After that date, we will hold a public vote and determine the winner! We are giving people time because we know that the weather may keep some people from participating.

Rules:
1. ANY form of cheating will result in immediate disqualification and removal from the contest.
2. The Evo X entered must be owned by you! You cannot enter one that doesn't belong to you!
3. There will be absolutely no image/photo manipulation allowed except for enhancing image color, contrast, tone and levels, etc.
4. Only one entry per person! Even if you are blessed enough to own 2 X's, you'll need to select only one for the contest.
5. Once you have entered the contest (posted) you may not withdraw from the contest.
6. If you are found to be posting anywhere on the internet asking people to vote for your particular entry, you will be disqualified! However, you can urge people to vote for the monthly contest.
7. Upon voting, only those with 50 or more posts will have votes that count.

Contest Requirements:
~Each contestant must submit at least two (2) high quality high resolution images of their X's engine bay. One shot with physical signage of your username on the car (just like you would do if you were going to sell it.)
Note: You may post up to 4 pictures, but you must have the 2 required shots at a minimum!

Format:
1. Username
2. Your images (*****First picture you post is the picture with your username in it, then the other!*****) Remember to have both of the required photo's, with no more than 4. The extra shots are where you can really be creative! Show us why YOU deserve to adopt this orphan.

~Every month there will be a different contest, so the rules will change to apply to the current contest.
~The voting wiill take place in the third week of April (Right after Tax day) and will end on April 22, 2011
~Once you win a monthly contest, you will not be able to win another contest for 12 months.

I know it's tough to be original with all of these but didn't we just do this not that long ago? (best engine bay)

I also think it's kind of unfair that people with the nicest engine bay have the best chance at winning a part I can guarantee they already have.

I don't mean to come off as a total a-hole here but just speaking my mind. I think these contests that the forums + sponsors put on are amazing and you guys really out do yourselves on a constant basis.

Yeah but unfortunately when voting time comes people are going to misinterpret and vote for the engine bay they think is the nicest which in most cases is an engine bay that doesn't need a new uicp.

feel you bro i have 3 months left till r and r and then have 15days to drive and enjoy my evo then have to come back here for another 3 month till i am done done and come home just in time to put my car up for winter :/ get 15 days of driving in a year and 6 months missing it so bad :(

The prize is for a Evo X Pipe... not sure if it will fit the ralliart. It should but I'm not 100% sure. Let me find out and I'll get back to you.

I am pretty New, but I am not saying I deserve to Win as I already have UICP and Howie's Evo is much nicer than mine ( and the girl is hot too! ) but so far I am the only one that followed the Rules in posting. I would say wait for whom ever post the cleanest picture that is mostly stock with maybe just an intake. But its your Forums. I just like contests and I want to switch her up a bit, I would want to see a picture of the UICP before I even accepted it if I won, but against Howie the only other poster I dont really have a chance. *1-piece UICP must be non smoker, love to go fast, clean, and willing to work. Couplers and T-Bolt clamps a plus :)

Okay - Here's my submission. Since the car is still in the garage, it was harder to take pictures with better lighting. So instead of moving it out into the cold and salt, I played around with the lighting a bit in hopes that it will showcase how clean the engine bay is. Hope you guys like it!

If this is a 1 piece pipe, I could DEFINATELY use it! The stock piece of pipe that is bolted to the frame keeps wanting to pop out of the coupler from my AMS intercooler core. Ive tried different couplers and clamps but none are working very well.

Edit: Higher Resolution Attachments Added - Note: Water on windshield is from rain, not from a hose.. I try to clean everything as often as possible - My X has nearly 29k miles as of these pictures! BTW, my camera is from around 2000, so the "dirt" you see in the pictures is actually from the lens of the camera =/
