a week might be too short maybe month is better. Where any of us can submit their own car photo or other car photo, from the car shows etc... just one picture per car best shot, and one picture for each member. there will be deadline of submission and voting. then who ever be the winner that car will be in the homepage x 1 month so the picture should be big enough. then it will be replace by the next month winner.

We do this on the mazda forums, but there is a downside of the drama. Then you have multiple people asking all of their friends to vote for them, etc...and it becomes a popularity contest.

so it will be like american idol.... i don't know maybe limit to members only(if they will ask their friends to join it will increases our membership, so that's one positive.) and maybe one vote for one IP address only. maybe voting is two parts the members and the moderators( moderators has the capacity to disqualify an entry, let's say a really super ricer evo x) and if reaches certain percentage like 60% of the total members population will come up with the winner.

How many moderators do you have on this forum? Maybe have it so anyone can submit pics but only the mods vote. That way its more controlled. You can teach the mods what to look for and how to judge the pics.

I dont consider myself an expert in picture review, so I wouldn't like having only the mods review the submissions.
