So right now I'm going from Cali to Virginia. The highest oct sold is 91 and I get to Arkansas last night and fill up and notice they have 93 no biggie as long as I don't continue to run it. But here is my first question is 93 going to continue to be the normal as I continue east? If it is will I need to be tuned for 93?

Second. Thing is that lovely knocking sound that everyone complains about that I know there is a thread on here that says it's normal and only gets worse I agree with that but mine went away after I got a hole tank of 93. Imma double check next time I stop but yup. Thanks for your help

Lived in Va all my life (mostly) its all 93 but if your military you can get e85 from DSCR in Richmond (don't know price).

I guess the knocking sound is from running not so rich gas ie Cali gas lol. But ok. Still looking for an answer to the retuning of 91 to 93. I'm thinking about switching to e85. I'm going to be in Arlington. Is e85 pretty common

In Cali there were only three stations one in san Diego and one in my hometown so I didn't switch.
Hey thanks though for the info

Not in Arlington to my knowledge but as I assume you are Navy check on you base/post with the BX/PX. I'm in Richmond and the only place I know is DSCR (defense supply depo).
