Has anyone see how sweet the EVO X looks in Gran Turismo. It even looks like the real dash. Im still a bigger fan of Forza 2, but Gran Turismo definitely kicks its butt in the Graphics area.

All the cars look awesome in GT 5 Prologue. The Evo X looks very cool, as does the GTR. I love how I can barely handle the GTR around some of the tight tracks (need a more variable touch on the accelerator) but I can punch a MINI faster without spinning out into the gravel! I raced the Suzuka (spl?) circuit and couldn't get my fast accelerating Elise through 3 laps, but the first time I raced the MINI Cooper S I stayed on the asphalt and I won! :)

I bought this game and GTA IV at the same time, but with my limited game time I haven't even taken GTA IV out of the shrink wrap yet!

So far I think my favourite car is the Nissan GTR, by I haven't tried them all yet. What is your favourite???

Have you tried Evo X yet?! It is pretty damn fun to drive as well :godance:. Especially when you select the "automatic mode", which is really SST. The shifts are fast as hell! :-D I didn't find the GT-R that fun to drive, it felt really heavy, but it was fast as ballz. I thought M3 was pretty fun to drive as well.

You won't be disappointed. The storyline will get you hooked.

I have tried the Evo X, and it seemed easier to drive than the GT-R, most likely because the traction control is better and the power is lower. Handling was excellent. I haven't had time to really compare it to other cars in the same class. The computer driven STIs really seem to handle well, sometimes very tough to catch.

My initial driving style for these types of games is to peg the accelerator or brake and steer at will while gradually learning the driving line. This doesn't work in reality, and likewise does not work in this game! I spin out too much. I need to control the throttle better during cornering, and I haven't managed the partial throttle using the PS3 controller (using the right joy stick), but I should probably look at getting a wheel and pedals (anyone using these, which would you recommend?).

The GT-R IS FAST, so you can muck up in the corners and then catch all the slow hatches on the straights! I'm still early on in the game. Those of us with kids and wives are not allowed the opportunity to play for 10 hours straight!

I haven't firgured it out yet, can you upgrade the cars like you could in the last version of GT? I want a balls out MINI like I used to have. I just love the handling and funny looks of that car. Man, I need to buy one of the new JCWs to get my fix!

I really wish they had GT5Prologue on the X360 - Id be all over it.

For now forza has to feed my need. They did well with the Evo X in Forza, but 2 things irritate me - 1) You cant paint the wheels (I want to get a sweet set of bronze on my WW Evo X)... 2) They have no aero kits for the vehicle, not even the factory aero kit as an option (which would make it that much better).

GT5 looks amazing though from everything Ive seen. They really tapped into the ability of the PS3 I think. Is In-Game different than any of the footage shots in HD theyve released or is it really that good?

So far I have not found the ability to modify the cars beyond the body colour, so your gripes remain the same.

Yes, the game experience, graphics, physics, sounds, are as good as you see in the trailers. I am loving the Prologue but I also can't wait for the full version that will have more extensive career mode, car modifications (both visual and performance mods), more tracks (including the 'Ring), and many more car models, though there are already a lot at over 70 (so I've read, I haven't tried near that many yet).

Once you finish class A, you will be able to mod your car, but it is very limited compared to the full game.
