Hi
Next week i got a new EVO X which will be imported from US to Europe.Because this is the first EVO to me i have a few questions.Please if anybody can help me.
I reed in forums thad the car must have a factory reflah is anybody have any idea how to i do this here in Europe.
Can tell me what is different beetween Unichip and ECutek(AGP,Buschur) and is it possible to this via internet or mail and what i need to do this (OBD conector).

there is a very high possibility that the reflash was already done on the car.
As for the EMS systems (Unichip and ECUTek) I dont know much about the ECUTek but yes you could purchase them over the internet.
If Unichip for the EVO X is anything like how it was with mazda, to tune the Unichip you would need to find an Authorized center with the ability.
The Unichip should be a piggyback ECU which would require connecting it to the harness running to the OEM ECU. So, no you wouldnt be able to just plug it into the OBDII port.
what made you export a vehicle from the US. Do they not offer the Evo X where you are in Europe?

I think that importing one to Europe would probably be cheaper than the outrageous prices they have over there.

Because the price for base GSR hire in Europe is 45000 EUR-71000 USD ,and for the full loaded MR is 54000 EUR-85300 USD.:mad:I will pay for my imported EVO X GSR with SSS 60000 USD.
The car was bought 10.april at American dealer,becuse i dont know if they made a factory reflesh.

there is a post somewhere on this forum that indicates the serial numbers involved. if your car is within these numbers then it will most likely need a reflash.

Any GSR below the Vin#JA3AW86V08U049108 is affected
