My CP-E catback exhaust has finally arrived. I'm having it installed tomorrow (finally found a place that will do it, with the cat) But here's where the problem might be...Naturally, I'm excited about my new toys and laid them out on the floor piece by piece to get a look at the beauty that will soon be under my car. Then I notice, one of the flanges on the UR cat seems to be crooked (the flange closer to the cell) Does anybody know if this is supposed to be this way?? I didn't get an aftermarket downpipe, so I'm not sure if the OEM downpipe has some kind of curve at the bottom? It's got me worried that it could be a bad weld job from the factory and therefore mess everything up for me tomorrow. Anybody with any knowledge of this, I would really really appreciate some quick feedback.

Already thought of that, but my gf has the camera out with her friends tonight. I know it's hard to understand and explain. The flange at the end closer to the 02 bung is straight, flush. It's the flange on the other end, it seems to be tweeked a few degrees. The holes within the flange still match up with the midpipe flange (even tho I know it's the end that will attach to the downpipe) It doesn't rest evenly. If I were to try to stand it on that end, it would tip over due to the flange not being level. I hope that clears it up somewhat

Its not gonna hurt if you try to install it, (its not that hard)... Then if doesn't fit put back the oem cat and
Complain about it..

Send it back and get a Speed Circuit test pipe or even a resonated one.

Best option then is find a muffler shop to cut and re-weld it.

both flanges should be crooked, UR racing does this , AMS, and Me , they fit perfect, it eliminates the need for a bend in the pipe.
