Hey all, selling a brand new set of SSP 400hp clutches for the Evo X MR and Ralliart. Never been taken out of the package, just selling because I never got them installed and have surpassed the limits of these clutches.
MSRP is $999 on these, im asking $550 shipped!

- 400's can handle 450 whp no problem
- 500's can handle 550-575 whp
- 600's have been bench tested to hold over 680 whp, but nobody had made that power yet....key word...YET!

I thought Tq matters and not hp? so as long as the tq is lower than 400 (or 450) should be ok right?

Ive heard its about 16 hours labor and you want a shop that knows what theyre doing SST wise.

If I'm not mistaken that is 999 + steels, which you have there, and I think steels are an other 150.

Also for install talk to SSP they have ppl all over that can help get this done for you.

Formerly HB Speed, now Socal Cobb should be able to do the install on these bad boys and labor is not cheap. I'd estimate around $1500 and a few days of down time.

He is still the master tuner. I doubt that would ever change.

Jon still tunes. HB Speed is now COBB So-Cal (teamed up). Haven't had a chance to check out the new facility, but Jon himself is still making fast cars go faster!!! :)

Soon as they get that damn dyno up and running, he will make my *fast* car even *faster* thanks to some additional go fast parts! After all that, I actually may end up having to slap on my 500hp SSP clutchpacks which have been sitting in my closet for like a year. I guess we'll see after it's re-tuned.

Ask Sean about that! He's working with Lightspeed to get a set installed, so it helps if they've done it before.

the car they tested the turbo on...and posted numbers from had an HKS prototype sst clutch pack...lol and every other part imaginable that they make so...while it is supposed to work with the sst theirs had a little help.:shades:

It took them 7 hours to do my exhaust. Wasn't very inpressed to say the least.
