Thats an awesome PB Evo X... Love the Lip spoiler too - adds to a clean look. If you do use the graphics design though, keep it PB and use white... I think that would like 40x better

Its taped to the black surround using double-sided tape. You have to use something tiny to get behind the emblem (we used a small pick on Dino's) and loosen the tape. Then you just add more tape to reapply.

I wouldnt recommend a heat gun as the plastic emblem is a little soft. Maybe getting in some kind of adhesive remover thats not harmful to plastic would help, but we didnt need any.

I think the car is actually dark green.

The car is dark olive/gold. Almost all of the piping in the engine bay will be coated very soon. I am sure this is going to be a dumb question, but what is pb?

I believe girodisc is supposed to be test fitting the 2pc rotors on my car next week, so hopefully they will be released very soon. They also made a bracket to fit the evo 8 rear pads on the X, which is also supposed to be test fitted on my car next week. As far as I know they will not have 1pc rotors for awhile.

The ETS stuff is really great! The install was very easy and straight forward. The ETS guys are super responsive; they kept me updated on the shipment and delays (the test pipe was delayed). The exhaust sounds amazing. I am really happy with the whole package, and ETS's overall service. We have had alot of problems recently with shops, so ETS was a great change of pace!!
I am going to be posting installation pics soon, along with a step by step write up. Hopefully that will be done this week, it just depends when I have the time to get it done.

olive green, did you get the car repainted? Because as far as I know, Mitsubishi doesn't offer this colour.

No dyno runs yet, we are still waiting on two parts :( Once those parts finally come in we plan on doing some runs at PIA

Please do something with doors. Pioneer the way for those of us scared to do so first lol. Love this car. Not a big green fan, but I would definitely not mind having that one.

So do you notice any extra underhood heat soak using that air intake, and metal piping setup? How did it change the sound? I mean is the sound of the BOV and the intake suck in general a lot more noticeable?

It defenetly more noticable. As far as heat, right after a drive the pipes are cold to the touch but after idleing in place you can feel the heat. We have the engine cover off too so you fell a bit moer heat from that aswell. The exhuast is very clean, it sounds nothing like the EVO 8/9. No drone on the freeway and even with all the parts its still a very comfortible car to drive. We need to do a couple movies but we are wating for the test pipe and 23psi to do them.

sadly my Mu's wont fit in the X. :( so i'm looking for a new set up. I hope you guys will put them on the market soon :)

They are 4.5lbs lighter then stock per rotor. We haven't got the rear assembled yet so we'll have those weights very soon. These rotors are going to see some track time and after they are beaten up a bit will have a look at them and as long as we don't have to make any alterations, the first order will be place to stock and sell. The rotor hat is totally naked aluminum but we will be offering custom anodizing in a wide array of colors shortly after they are released.

Ive been trying to come up with ideas for all the doors myself. I was thinking about having all the plastic ugly part done in a black leather, and the cloth part done in a grey color to match the GG exterior with a nice red baseball stitch at the seams, and do the samre to the seats. Im looking for ideas though.

Hey, its been a while. Car got some nice time in the snow, rain, and crap from this winter and now its getting close to track season so its time for some more HP. We got the new ETS DP with external dump and an Accessport and its going in for some dyno tuning on the 22nd. We be updating with pics and numbers shortly after.

i spy steve & mike from PIA, glad im not the only one with an evo x who goes there. i noticed the removed rear reflectors and cut away pieces by the plate, was it a lot of work?

The rear reflectors have a couple little mounting tabs in the recess behind them. Just cut them off so its a hole and your done. We used 1/4" round stock, 2 pieces for the top and bottom edge and then used thin sheet metal to make the shape. We wanted to over build it because of all the slamming and vibrating the trunk gets from opening and closing it as well as from driving and the vibration from the sub.

I didn't think of using round stock for the edge. That's a great idea.
