Just a catback or a full turboback?

A catback won't give you any gains and neither will a UICP or IC at the power level your at currently.

evo x turbo

both of those mods are a waste on stock turbo, unless you really want a new sound from the CBE

you will see more gains from an exaust just make sure to get a high flow cat or test pipe.

i would love to get an evo x turbo, but dont have much time to do all the work since i work at night and im finishing up school, tbe or cbe would take me no time at all, and i love the sound of a new exhaust. i just dont want it sounding like the fricken civics or even ford focus thats got an exhaust (shoot me) but ive also heard you can see gains with a fmic and uicp, not much but some. and the obvious cooler engine

look at my sig my turbo back sounds meaner than any v8 in town and they know it because im told i have the baddest sounding car in town by the v8 guys all the time. No civic here and it added around 40 or so whp I would say.

Testpipe > all. Best cost:power ratio.

Waste huh? I guess making the stock turbo able to breath a little better doesn't help much!

Turbo back with a test pipe!

A testpipe on un-tuned car = Around 15hp, along with quicker spool.

HFC or test pipe and a pro tune is your best bang for buck at that point. Tune being most important. For example you can take a untuned evo and add every aftermarket part made and it will get romped by a 100% stock evo with a good tune.

soooo i think im going to get the evo x perrin dp/hfc....what do you guys think i should pay for a used one? any insight about it also? likes/dislikes?

and fitment should be the same as for ralliart correct? ive looked it up and havent seen anything other then fits both applications

Fit should be close, but I think I read somewhere that the downpipe may be a pain if it's not specific to the Ralliart, but will fit.

Why not just get a dp and hfc that are made for the ralliart? No fitment issues that way! I've got the ultimate racing hfc with the cp-e catback and I love it. Noticeable gains, great sound and best of all...no check engine light. Can't say for the dp as I haven't gone that far yet.

I'm guessing test pipe & CBE.

If you want to feel and hear the difference would go with axle back and test pipe, I went with resonated test pipe. Installing the fmic wont make any noticiable change unless you have a nice tune!!!
