Well, I finally got around to installing this nice lookin' exhaust yesterday and I must say that I'm very pleased with the result.

The fit and finish of the system are top notch, installed in about 30 minutes from wheels up to wheels down and it sounds amazing. The sound is perfect...very meaty and mean...but never gets loud.

In terms of power...didn't notice any huge difference since the cat is still there and I haven't put the DP on yet...but it seems like it spools up a little quicker.

For $600, it was definitely a great investment.

I apologize for the crappy pics...I'll take more when I can get to my camera.

Nice, I really like Greddy. Interesting about the sound, I heard it on a YouTube clip and it sounded pretty loud. I also recall someone else's thread saying that it was pretty loud. Any pics and sound clips?

I am still debating on the greddy I heard it sounds nice and it has a really good price for what you get, but I don't want to have to get it fixed so it is 3" all the way through. I hear it tapers to 70mm at the cat flange.

Coming from an RSR GTII on my Evo 8 and an Agency power Ti on my 350Z...this thing is mouse quiet.

The taper really isn't a factor. It is only about 1/2" long and then expands to the full 3" from there. Plus...if you're running a cat, the taper really isn't the bottleneck anyway.

Okay so it would be easy to get the tapered part cut off and a 80mm welded back on. Well I guess that makes that decision easy. I plan on running a catless test pipe.

Pictures, pictures, pictures! :-) Would love to see how this looks on your X! As for power, you'd feel more if you had a test pipe. However, there's nothing wrong with saving the environment! :-)
