They picked the M3 in car and driver cause of everyday comfort. It got its butt handed to it in every performance slot there. Drag, To 60, and Track. Im usually a big Car and Driver Fan, but when comparing those cars it has nothing to do with comfort. Those car are all about who is the fastest. Hell Buschur with less than 5k worth of upgrades in an EVO is kicking the crap out of the M3 at the drag strip (Quarter mile in Car&Driver 12.9 and most I have read M3 is about 13.2car). I have to call BS on this article. I know car and driver are big BMW fan boys but come on. It was 3 secs slower than the next fastest car around the track, and the drag numbers where embarrassing.

I think this may be in the wrong forum. I have to agree with the comfort thing though.... unless the cars are dead even in performance that shouldn't be the deciding factor.

Like the 2005 Mustang "Gotta have it factor"... Seen the favoritism played out too much. I don't even think I would have the M3 in my car selection if I could afford any of those cars.

I read that same article and was completely disgusted...

C&D and R&T have a tendancy to have BMW first every single time...

Its ok to be a BMW fanboy (as most of their comparos, the BMW wins but understandably so), but given the facts, its clear to see the GT-R was the clear winner.

Yeah, I like the M3 but given the choice between the 2, I would take the GT-R... sorry BMW...
