twinturbogreg 06-23-2011, 08:17 PM Is there any way to power up the ACD pump to bleed the system? I have called 3 dealers to do this for me and have gotten 3 differant answers. One said I don't have to bleed it, One said $150, and the other said $325. Do we have any Mitsu Techs on here to check into this for me?? Any help would be great! I tried. lallen3 06-23-2011, 08:33 PM Safe way: Fill the ACD/AYC at the same time. Top the reservoir in the trunk. Bleed with scan tool. Risky way: Fill as stated above, find a safe road within a few hundred feet of filling it, and do some insane left right maneuvers in gravel mode to trigger pump activation. It's not just about the pump spinning. It needs to KNOW to open certain valves to the lines in order to purge the air. It's not like the pump runs when you're driving it hard, and just applies pressure to everything. It controls which lines get which pressure, bleed, etc. That's why I use a scanner. Nothing like the system hitting a freakin' air bubble right when you're counting on it going into a turn at ludicrous-speed. razorlab 06-24-2011, 05:52 PM Bryan I tried that on mine and it doesn't work.
