As much as it is cool to see show cars and all the cool "racing" hardware they have, I doubt 90% of these cars can or will ever go around a track.

Wekfest used to be about Function > Form. It was the anti-car-show car meet. It is now the epitome of the import car show.

I like nice cars that are actually functional. As in it can actually drive and get driven. Race parts that actually get used for its purpose - not to look shiny in an engine bay.

I know the organizers of Wekfest and have been to all their shows in the area. It started off as a car meet for a bunch of guys. I used to "show" my car. You show up, park and chat with your buddies and meet other car enthusiasts.

Now it is an elite show with only the "best" selected by them. Most of these cars are the most outrageous and least streetable cars with an emphasis on bling.

and... the current show sucks with crazy blinged out cars that never get driven. Totally against what wekfest was originally about.

Yeah I thought it was nice too. I was kinda mad that these were all the Evo shots but it was just Part 1 so maybe there will be more in Part 2. I kinda feel like Xs don't really get much press love. But hey it is what it is I guess.

I love going to these show. Its nice to see other cool cars outside of the typical evo meet. All of those evos are just gorgeous.

That red one with the Varis stuff is nice, but that slammed WW is awful (roof spoiler? really?), that black one with the ZOMG ORANGE I'M SO UNIQUE rims is pretty bad, and that one-off widebody X is nothing short of terrible.

The black IX at the end, though, nice.

lol ^ agree to that...not being a hater ..those cars are really nice but having a performance car without using aka racing it is useless...well that's just me lol..ok i'm hating...

on the other side maybe these are just pure show cars which is aLSO a hobby...Im just bored right now lol....

I'm not all about the "you have a performance car you have to track it" idea, though I plan on doing it one day. I'm more of the school of though that, "Why put ridiculously stupid-looking mods on your Evo just to go to shows and drive fast on on-ramps?"

I think that Green X is the biggest money pit ever created. Return it to stock and I'd buy it, in that form, ugh. The rear wheel fitment is maybe the worst I've ever seen on a supposed show quality X. The poke makes it look like one of those stupid cars(or trucks) with wheels/tires way outside the body.

Yeah, that green one is just all around awful, in my opinion. I liked the old color he had, that orange-yellow, but the car has always been ugly.

Soooo I can't buy ANYMORE performance parts for my car until I start tracking it??? Okay, cool. Got it! The green one is a lil over the top for my taste but its "unique" I read the article on that car in a magazine, its got power, he said he was gonna track it. I doubt it tho. Green: nice color, kit bad
White: whats wrong with the roof spoiler? probably does nothing for functionality but neither do most of the things people do to the outside of their cars
Black: not bad but the camber in front is a bit much...looks like even more than is needed to make those wheels clear as if its camber for cambers sake
