Not too impressed. They dynoed it in Gravel mode. Didn't find out till I was driving out of the parking lot.
Great new facilities though. (NZ, Auckland Torque Performance)
Tested in 3rd gear, ASC turned off.
Peaked at 229.71 WHP ( nice plateau of power 4500rpm to 7500rpm )
23.1 psi peak tapering off to 11.6psi
Air Temp, R.H 15celsius, 59%
Air Pressure 1020mb
Nm was off the charts (not sure if that was the correct reading)
AFR started at 13 dropped steadly to 10.5Time to start modding.

The baseline 267hp runs were with a RRE Stealth Exhaust, rally cat and a RalliArt drop in filter. AFRs with that set up were 10.5 to 10.75 :1
After runs are with just the addition of the tune using ECUTek.
Boost before was 20 to 23 psi from 3250 up to 4K rpm. Then tapering to eventually 13.5 psi at redline.
Boost now is 21 to 23 psi between 3250 and 4K but tapers to 17psi. Injector duty cycles are topped out at 90% according to the ECUTek logger. At redline where the duty cycle is high it is only 19ms. I remember in DSM days not being alarmed or hitting fuel cut till over 22ms.
The car does like even leaner AFRs. But we'll stick with mid 11s for now on 91 octane.

Nice gains. Evo's would be winning a lot more reviews if they would leave the factory that way. I bet it feels like a different car now.

yes apparently it does. that was switched off it mine was just in the wrong mode though ( gravel) I dont know how much difference it makes though.

guys dont care of dynos curves.
Evos need hands no extra power as the stuff is for cornering.
