Hey i was wondering if anyone knows a difference of the two trims interior... plan on buying a Evo sometime soon and would like to know some info.

- plastic trim pieces on door & dash are faux CF
- No audio or BT controls on steering wheel
- AWC switch on steering wheel
- cloth fabric on Recaros
- Interior accessory package is champagne/silver in color

MR
- plastic trim pieces on door & dash are gloss black w/some gold fleck in it (only apparent in sunlight)
- Audio controls & Bluetooth controls on steering wheel
- AWC switch by shift knob & cup holders
- leather & alcantra on Recaros & center console storage
- Interior Accessory package is brushed silver & black leather

the sparkle part or the gloss black? I didn't notice the fleck, until a week or so after I got my MR. It was a pleasant surprise & somewhat matches the fleck in the exterior Phantom Black paint.

I sat in a GSR yesterday, and the interior is noticeably worst. Especially the sits, they don't even feel like the same series of recaro.

Both. The GSR certainly feels more rugged. I would have been happy with either to be honest. The MR does feel like an upscale car. Not as nice as a Lexus IS350 but certainly a little more upscale.

One thing I am glad about...is i got the NAV. I had no idea it controlled the windshield wipers, turn signals, remote settings, and tons of other stuff.

Oh and...negative on the Interior Accessory package. MR's up here in Canada at least, do NOT come with it. (Aluminum/leather handbrake and shift knob.)

the seats interior for the GSR can easily be upgraded to leather for about $1300US. Alot cheaper than an MR if all you want is the leather.

I love my interior. Leather is nice in the Fall and Spring around here but come Summer and Winter, cloth is more comfy to me all year round.

I might do an all alcarta theme though when and if I decide to do a custom interior job. Along with custom brushed aluminum trim to match my shift knob and e-brake replacing the faux carbon fiber on the dash and doors.

+1 on a custom job. The MRs are not a very high quality leather either. You can do a serious custom interior job for 2k. Doors, Consol, and seats that will blow away the look of the MR. Dealer wants over 2k for the MR seats alone with not high quality leather.

All I did was get the leather package from mitsu (covers that replace the cloth ones the car comes with). I also have heated seats so not worried about them being cold.

This is exactly what i have been looking for. So you wrapped the seats yourself, or did Mitsu wrap them for you? Also, do the seats still say RECARO on them, because it would be a shame to lose the logo. VERY sweet looking though. I WANT IT.

im a cloth guy i dont like leather its not as comfortable. the day the mr tranny hold more power than the mr is the day i will buy the mr lol.

the MR has phantom black interior pieces instead of the geometrical pattern. which u guys refer to as black with the gold flakes, same thing.
