Now introducing the August 2011 Monthly Evo X Member Contest! This month's contest is the first of 5 "Quaker State Ride of the Month" contests. For the first contest We want a picture of your Evo at it's best. A "glamour shot" so to speak. Whether it's the Evo being washed, waxed, loaded for a picnic, raced (on some sort of TRACK) or just sitting pretty in a parking lot. Also somewhere in the picture there must be a Quaker State Logo. Whether it be on a bottle of oil or on a building in the background...
WHAT WE WANT: Something that could possibly end up in a magazine ad. (No! we are NOT saying this is going to end up in a magazine ad. That's just what WE are looking for.) So, again, your Evo at it's best. And the Quaker State logo somewhere in the picture.

Entry deadline is August 24, 2011. After that date, we will hold a public vote and determine the winner!
Now on to the good stuff, Ride of the Month winners are automatically entered into our Quaker State Free Oil Change draw! Each month, we will randomly select winners, from the ROTM winners, and each month we will announce who has won a free oil change from AutoGuide. That gives you 5 chances to win from now until November!
To be eligible, all you have to do is participate in the ROTM program,
be selected the winner by your peers, and we will then toss your name in
a hat. The second Monday of each month, from now until November, if your
name is pulled out of the hat, your oil is changed on us! Winners of
this Oil Change Draw receive a gift card to change their oil at a
national service center that uses Quaker State oil for all of their oil
changes.
On top of that you will of course get...

Rules:
1. ANY form of cheating will result in immediate disqualification and removal from the contest.
2. The Evo X entered must be owned by you.
3. There will be absolutely no image/photo manipulation allowed except for enhancing image color, contrast, tone and levels, etc.
4. Only one entry per person!
5. Once you have entered the contest (posted) you may not withdraw from the contest.
6. If you are found to be posting anywhere on the internet asking people to vote for your particular entry, you will be disqualified! However, you can urge people to vote for the monthly contest.
7. Upon voting, only those with 50 or more posts will have votes that count.
Contest Requirements:
~Each contestant must submit two photos. The photos must be attached & embedded into your post. (Click HERE (http://www.evoxforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16211) to figure out how.)
~Included in the two (2) photos, there must be one (1) picture of your car at it's best and another with your car and a handwritten sign that has your username in it.
~Use the format provided below
Format:
1. Username
2. Name
3. Your "glamour shot photo" of your car.
4. Your photo with username included will be shown last.
Notes:
~Make sure your pictures are taken in a well lit place, good back drop, make sure we can see it all!
~Try and be creative!
~Every month there will be a different contest, so the rules will change to apply to the current contest.
~Voting will take place shortly after August 24 (when the contest closes).
~Once you win a monthly contest, you will not be able to win another contest for 12 months.
~The winner of each monthly contest will be contacted by one of the staff (likely me, kidneythief13) via pm to obtain contact information. If it's not a Mod contacting you for it, don't give out the info!
