My company and I are getting ready to head to SEMA...this pic was taking awhile ago...the car is getting a brand new paint job ;) (kandy) interior parts, engine & etc etc.....This is my first time going to SEMA Weeeeeeeee!!! lol see you all there. lol you guys are not going to believe me if i tell you...lol trust me it took us along time to actually understand if this would look good on the car...but as we are also a paint/body shop we could change the color if we didnt like it lol....its called a House of Color's Kandy purple voilet paint. lol i know.....purple?? lol but really guys...its a very niiice looking color..will post pics soon :)

the front looks wierd without the mesh and with that lip. im sure that once its painted its gonna be clean. good luck

Yea, just let them send you some pictures. That's what happened to my situation too. Since I can only go there like every 1-2 weeks they just send me pictures on my car while during body and paint job. And Robert was more than happy to update and send me pictures.

thank you.....as for that question i have no clue lol hopefully no extra bolts laying around...these guys are very pro for what they do...There one of the best in Cailfornia for painting...we do alot of award winning showcars...and believe it or not...remember that one person that posted up a thread about the worst paint shop with his 350Z lol well he came to us...and were going to re-due his whole car...cause it looked soooo bad...man...its worse in person guys!!!!

Can't wait to see it finished. It' a bit brighter than I was expecting... guess I can't judge until it's finished.

well i work for a company called M1 Autosport/ M1 Autobody...we sell and work on cars....so the autobody actually sponsored the car for the paint :) but if you want to do a whole car in Kandy...its roughly around $5,000.... :)

Awesome job on the car man, I was at SEMA and this was easily my favorite X there along with the white X MR with the grey 19" CE28's. Great job on not over doing the car and keeping it relatively simple and clean unlike most Evo's there...BTW just to tell everyone these pictures do not do this car justice at all, the paint on this X was one of the nicest paint jobs on any car at SEMA, the paint job really was outstanding...once again awesome job on your X.

The front looks really really good w/o the mesh, as soon as I get my evo (arriving next week hopfully), i'm gonna take out the mesh, hopfully my dad doesn't notice it...The purple looks OK, white was better :) but then again I haven't seen the entire car.
