I am about to buy a cover for my evo at www.carscover.com (http://www.carscover.com), it looks really good and i heard great things about it. Before i buy the cover i just needed some suggestions about other car cover places...i want to get the best cover for my evo.

I wouldn't recomend a carcover for they have a tendincy to scratch the paint when it flaps in the wind.

they can also trap moisture underneath if they are on too snug, and flap (like jmayevox said) if they aren't snug enough.
trapped moisture = :(
excessive flapping = :(

You can get car covers that breath well and specifically dont scratch.. (soft inners)
My mate had one specifically made for his evoIII, was expensive.. NZ$1000

do we have a stock car cover for lancer/evo... that wont scratch, i asked my dealer and they don't have it. 1000 for car cover is a lot of mod and hp.

Why do you need a car cover anyway? Depends on how it'll be used and where, to pick what kind is best.

so glad I don't have to have use a cover anymore. But I used to have to use one and I had one from carcover.com and it worked ok. Not sure if i'd trust it on my evo tho

Just make sure if you get one that you wash it first... Sometimes real shitty or even the nice brands tend to "bleed" their color the first time it gets wet... just a thought to think about
