So I recently came back to my car to find a nice dent in the rear bumper. I brought it to a local autobody shop to find out that a new bumper + install/paint would run me $1300. I am trying to figure out a way to fix it myself, either via heating it up and popping it out, then painting it.... or something along those lines.. Anyone have any help on what I can do to make this look better??? Thanks

Take off rear bumper and get a heat gun. Heat up from inside becareful not to overheat and melt bumper or paint. Press out dent with blunt round object. Repaint / buff out if needed.
