Hello guys, i recently installed my steering wheel and works hub and quick release that i had for a couple of months. the install went smooth i disconnected my negative batt cable since dealing with the airbag. (note i am an experienced technician and i am no newbe when it comes to cars). i had to relocate my s-awc switch to my center console with all mitsu oem parts. bought an extra switch, panel and blank buttons. i installed the buttons a week before the steering wheel install and i can control the s-awc both from the steering wheel control and on the center console and drove fine, no lights nothing.. now today when i finished installing my steering wheel i went for a test drive and after i go over 10 miles per hour the traction control lights up on the dash, and cuts down power as if i was out of control when im not , i also found i cycle on the cluster to the s-awc display.. and as im driving sloww the s-awc lights up as if im in the corner driving hard.. but again im driving straight and super slow ! im confused.. the clockspring was never moved,,, perfectly straight i have no idea.. is there some type of relearn to any s-awc or traction control computer since i disconected the batt cable ? thanks.. :(

I am talking out of my ass here, really. I have no first hand knowledge of this, but I believe the stock steering wheel has a positioning sensor for the AYC system. If this is now missing it may be causing problems with the system.
