My SST slips a bit under hard acceleration when it reach around 5000rpm.
Anybody experience this?
I am afraid to tune the car, it may slip more?
Anyone has this problem?

After hard driving (lots of kick down), the " ! " appears, and power is cut. After slow driving a few minutes, it's normal.

This is seriously enough to push me to the 5 speed GSR! pity, I liked the idea of the SST
Edit: Got some tips from a race driver. Drive by the padels or shift when going hard or the SST WILL indicate it is over heating. The Japanses Engineers have built in saftey features so Boy racers don't blow the tranny up!

its not a slip..... i think its the hesitation thing the gsrs had the reflash for, im waiting for the mr reflash
imo, dun tune MR. SST cant stand for big horsepower, My car got overheated at the track at the 2nd session. image it there is more hores power.

I didn't have any problems with mine when I was out at the track. I just left it in Super Sport in Auto and went!

Drive harder, it will.

There is a good article in Sport Compact about all the dual clutches and how they work. They give the reason in black and white why it will be hard to tune the SST. It makes perfect sence. Ill try to post it up about the SST

^I read the same article as well, it mentioned the maximum torque load on SST is 330lbs if i remember correctly. I presume this is at the flywheel.
