Very nice. I'd return that baby to stock(exterior-wise) and do minimal power mods on it. K20 swap & some suspension work & call it a day. Perfect auto-x car.

Haha, yeah I always hear comparisons that are done between the two motors and people saying how the K20(from the Type R) responds to mods so much better than the older B18.

True... I would say swap the steering rack and get the 98 spec transmission.

Because maybe you LIKE the DC2 chassis compared to the other and want to upgrade the engine. After all, isn't that what modifying cars is about?

Besides, it's not like it hasn't been done before. Do a search on youtube or google. Lots of people have done it so i'm not nuts.

Such a nice car. I agree with leaving the original motor. Its a collectors car now. Dont be messing with anything. I see dozens of integras every day. Grab one of those and swap away. This one, leave as is and keep it spotless.
One day when I get my 5 car garage I'll get this exact one. Has to be yellow.

I'm feeling guilty ,because I have an integra Type R and I did a K20 swap in it ... took me lots of time and reflection before doing it... but hey, wanted more hp with 100% honda reliability (only some bolt on and dyno tuning). And I love it on track ... and btw the chassis from a regular integra is different from a Type R one...
I'm still happy to have one of best car/engine from Honda and one of best 4cyl AWD turbo car :)

I've owned three Type R's (a '98 and two '00) in my life. They're great cars. But the theft hassles associated with them is very annoying.

Such as? What a valve adjustment... Do it once, easy for the rest of your life.

It's cheaper to kswap a gsr or ls , my last car was a built k20a on a 4dr ls put down 260hp forgot torque lol
Kind miss it but in ny car never parked in streets would get stolen less then 2 days .
