i live in apopka, which is like 10 miles from orlando

South FL = W. Palm Beach, Broward, & Miami. Theres actually debate in congress about splitting south FL from the state. It'll never pass imo.

Who knows. I'm the Exile. Use to be TEMEVO would do cool stuff, Picnics, trips to Moroso, biweekly meets. But then the core members got really busy with work and Yadi took over. It turned into "I don't like Dennys. Meets are too far, I want to do something different." We had a personality conflict and I have not talked to them since. Last I heard they are just doing Karting and Paintball. Nothing wrong with that mind you, but it was a "Car Club" before Yadi. I did hope they got back to some of that but I doubt it.

The only reason I know you are on their thread is that I went back just to send Jeff a PM. He is eternally looking for used cheap or free tires. My wife wants me to clean out the garage... hence. Jeff's really good people though. ;)

im actually visiting my parents in coconut creek, its 20mins south of Ft. Laud., ill be here till sunday if anyone wants to meet up........

It's a long hard days drive from Miami to the Dragon.

Last time I went I took the wife for a weeks vacation, Left Miami after work on a Friday and made it to about Gainsville before spending the night in a best western. Saturday took a liesurely drive up to Fontana Village which is my resort of choice when I go up there. They rent cabins for about $99/night depending on what you want. Sunday did a tour route that included the Dragon, Hellbender and a few other roads. Just "chillin" on that day. Monday went to Asheville and found some other interesting roads. Tuesday left for Nashville and the rest of our vacation.

So this could be a long weekend for anyone who just wants to do the Dragon. I'm probably going to make this a Dragon + other stuff trip, but if anyone wants to do just the Dragon portion of this it would be fine. I'll probably have a plan and a schedule by the end of this month and will start a new thread for it. Two or three days linked to a weekend is a good stretch for this kind of a trip.

EDIT: I found pictures of my car on the last trip I took to the Dragon on Killboy.com. It was 10/28/2007 and the pictures are #282-288. Killboy is a professional photographer who specializes in Dragon photos that you can buy online. He snaps everyone that goes through and you can buy from him later. the pictures give you an idea what kind of a road this is. It is just gorgeous!!

I will also be spending time a good amount of time Boca with my grand parents and in Miami/Gables working on a charter fishing boat.. I have a 2010 PB gsr on sbc rpf1's with basic bolt ons... I look forward to meeting some new locals!
