Ooh, turn signal side mirror option on page 8 of the accessories. Fancy! Looks like there's a lot of little body kit accents you can get too.

Page 11 has different interior lighting and such.

Outline D, I think that is the dark grey.

The RS is the more tricked out version in Japan, lighter weight, etc.? You will notice it only comes in 5 spd manual.

I'm digging those extra aero parts with the lessening effects on drag and increase on down force, very cool. I'll bet the NA market for these JDM parts will be strong.

So I guess silver is not an option.

less tricked out...

http://cars.ign.com/articles/824/824229p1.html

"In contrast, judging from the official shots the RS will come standard with 17" wheels. Other differences with the RS include the lack of the giant boy-racer wing, the deletion of accoutrements such as power locks/windows/radio, and a five-speed manual being offered as the only transmission option."

I believe no A/C as well.

Regardless...you're finding a metric butt ton of info. Keep it up!

BTW, how much longer are you in Assghanistan?

less tricked out...

But according to the other British review you posted it is faster, because they dropped all the heavy electronics, A/C, etc., with 0-60mph at 4.8 seconds. I believe that Subaru did the stripped down routine with one of their WRX STI models previously.

Weight reduction works wonders. But some people still prefer the extras.

But the car on that page header looks to be graphite grey. If the only choice is the black metallic, then that might be OK. I guess black is my second choice, but it would have to be metallic. I hate swirlies and minor scratches on flat black cars.

Yeah, that's what I meant, gloss black, plain black, without metallic or pearlescence. I haven't seen a production car with 'flat' or 'matte' paint but it could be cool.

Got a chance to look at it again. On the 1st page, for a second there, I thought that was a dual side-exit exhaust system.hehe. It's actually part of their aero dynamics kit.

yeah, I heard there is a push start button upgrade, I am sure it's probably available for the MR only. BTW, was there a boost gauge available that I saw, and where does that go?

Yeah there is. Its Trio gauge. With Electric, Oil Pressure and Turbo gauge, the broschure says they are backlit with blue LED.

Oh and I read the catalog. It says it works with both 5 M/T and SST. For the 5/MT you would need to hold the clutch and for the SST you need it to be in P mode.

This must be standard but my console lights up in red.. very cool looking down. :) so the blue around the pedals would be a weird contrast.

That would be a little funky... but maybe a good funky... or maybe when you get that they make it all blue... that would be awesome.

You can get the shift knob for the mr if you get the interior sports package... I just found that out yesterday cuz i didn't know what the 'interior sports package' included since my dealer threw it on their assuming i'd want it... It also includes one of those e-brake handles but i'm not sure which one of the two... I personally like the stock leather stitched shift knob for the mr... But i guess i'm stuck with the other one now.

Did anyone else see that the headlights are different from the RS to the GSR and MR?

The RS has reflector halogens, GSR/MR will both have HIDs.

Nice! It would be quite interesting to pull up in your Evo, open the back door and find a child car seat! Just the type of market growth Mitsubishi wants for the Evo.

yes for my 1YO boy, I had the same considerations especially the ISOFIX ability of these recaro seats and the ISOFIX availability in the Evo, however I couldn't justify paying $700 for the recaro's where I could buy 2 seats to go in one of my three cars.
