Go drive your car around the mountains and all your issues will go away.

How old are you? Do you have any Cardiac problem? History of hyper/hypotension?

Is the engine off and cool to the touch when your working under the car? Maybe your sensitive to the smell of oil/ engine flume.

Try wearing a face mask the next time your working under the car to see if that help.

Vertigo

:yeahthat:

My dad has vertigo, same symptoms, and has to take pills to help keep it from happening. I'd go to your doc and ask him if it happens again. :nerd:

I had that vertigo crap once. It was due to falling down and rupturing something in my inner ear.

if my head lays flat vs at and angle like having a pillow, I get dizzy like the feeling of being upside down. i tend to forward my head and i'm good to go.

It is from holding your head up in the air while on your back. Muscle strain, spine strain, vertebral artery and meningeal traction. Get to a chiropractor. You probably have an upper cervical problem.
