I should be getting my MR next week if dealers get their shit together. I just have one question. When washing the X do i have to worry about water getting in the hood vents? Thanks!

No, I've washed my car about 5 or 6 times by now & it's fine... water gets in if it rains, so why not when it gets washed

I highly recommend washing the Turbo daily.

Just stick the hose right into the vent and water that sucker down. 10whp gain for sure.

alrighty. I could tell D7 was being a smart ass...i am a smart ass.....way easy to tell. Also, does anyone use drive through washes, or go to a detailing place, or do you recommend doing it in the driveway? o an D7, i think a pressure washer in the turbo would have better results ;)

I try to always wash the car by hand, myself. I took it to a drive-through wash yesterday, complete waste of my $10, left water spots/streaks everywhere & came out dirtier than it was before. I spent 30 mins getting most of the streaks out... that's almost enough time to hand wash it:wallbash:

Can't auto-wash the PB, leaves too many water spots and streaks. The only way you can auto-wash is if you towel dry every time.

Mr Clean Auto Dry Carwash = The BOMB

I use that on my G and Evo once a week. You do not have to dry the car, it does a spot free rinse at the end. Takes about 20 mins per car but they look amazing after. Best of all - no drying :)

Simply wet, soap, wipe, rinse, and di-rinse :p
