I wonder if they are the same as the metra kit or if they are different in some way.

Is the Metra bad? I am glad I saw this, I almost bought one on ebay just now. What are is faults?

well looks like it is the metra. the crutchfield part number is
120997011 and the metra part number is 997011

oh well its still the best price on that kit ive seen, and of course you get it free on most decks(although crutchfields prices usually offsets this)
