There it is, the first noted difference between US and Canadian Evolutions. Longer is probably because of the front bumper changes to pass the low speed impact test. I hope they are not making it look hideous!

This also will likely make it possible to import a US evolution, but only if you upgrade the bumper (and possibly the supports) to the Canadian EVO bumper. May be more trouble than it is worth.

Since they put in a note specific to Canada it leads me to believe that other than the length everything else will be the same. I hope it is not the same. I hope I can get the BBS wheels on the manual version in Canada.

From another thread:

Does anyone know when the official specs of the Evo X are supposed to come out? I thought they were coming out in the Tokyo Motor Show. I know the estimates are 295hp and 300tq but I was wondering if those are official yet and when all the other stuff like the curb weight and such are supposed to come out.

These specs were pre-Tokyo Auto Show, but the curb weight is listed at 3344 lb for the GSR and 3388 for the MR. I do not see how the weights could differ significantly from these as most everything is staying the same.

Maybe that is a good discussion point, what will be different between US and JDM spec Evo's? We already have an idea of that as well, because Chris already posted the standard and optional/package equipment for the GSR and MR.

I don't believe there will be any difference between US and JDM Evo's in terms of power and torque, but I wouldn't mind being wrong (if it is more power for North America).
