Please give us an impression of how the coilovers ride compared to stock. Is the softest setting softer than stock is what I want to know. Thanks.

pratical example, a ramp with 25 m/h limit, with stock i can use 60mph to barly pass it with so so apexi line. Coz stock one is harder for me to take apexi line coz the suspension is not stiff enough.

with tein softest setting, today, I used 90mph to pass the ramp with good apexi line.

I feel like my MR2 is back to life.

But how soft is the softest setting??? Can you feel every bump in the road? Does it feel like stock or softer????

as i said, even the softest damping provide a much much better handling than stock. but I dun feel obvious diff on street, no extra bummpy.

Stock is not bad itself, pretty good on street. but tein is more aggressive damping for sharp cornering. Even my girlfriend said I am more confident on high speeed cornering. :p
Tein have been my favourite suspension on track for many years, once you try it, u will love it.

So does the softest setting ride softer than stock? I'm asking because I have JIC's FLT-TAR coilovers for about two weeks now. And it first came with 12/10 springs, then I had the springs switched out to 10/8 and had the gas pressure reduced inside the shocks and they still ride much harsher than stock (MR). I also run a set of Motons and a set of Ohlins on my other two cars and both ride softer than stock in their softer settings, but not the JIC's.

Man that suspension is amazing... I have always loved their EDFC control... I want to see full installed pics and see how you placed the controller.

:+1: on the tires. I just picked up the G-Force T/A KDW 2's for my MSpeed. Im loving them so far... Insane grip and good road feel (easy to tell when youre at the edge). Im still feeling out the full potential of these tires. They are a bit noisy due to the aggresive tread design, but I could care less.

I don't feel the road is more bumpy, is about the same with MR. but i believe it will be harder than the GSR model. GSR suspension is soft as i recall from last track day.

what stiffness do u use for the front and rear?

I am using G-force R1, never use this before. I only used a048 in my past. Hope it grip good. I stay with 18x8.5 stock wheel on purpose to minmize the understeering and increase steering response.

GSR suspension is firmer then the MR...

the gsr set up is more track oriented, there fore stiffer. the mr suspension give you a great balance between track and DD.
as i read in the tests. :)

rust proof accessories come with the tein, and My racing tires are also arrived

R1s are a nice track tire. They are camber dependent like the Hoosier so see if you can dial in some more negative camber on at least the front tires, if not all the way around. Factory setting is (-) 1 all the way around. If you could get (-) 2 in the front and (-) 1.5 in the rear that would be awsome and reduce some of the understeering

forget the R1s or Hoosiers!!!!!!! Nitto NT01s FTMFW!!!!!!! You will be able to get 5 or 6 track events out of them and as they wear, the tire reveals more of its true nature as a slick, while being totally non dependent of its negligible tread pattern. It's an ammmazing tire, you wont get more bang for your buck. You can read some reviews on them over at evom.

this depends on what car and drivetrain. I have did toe out a bit at the rear though

I've used the nittos and swear by them.... so I'm not just preaching in part of a review but from personal experience.

The NT-01s are great. They are a Toyo RA-1 with a different tread mold.
