My subwoofer blew on saturday, man i was so pissed i went to the dealership this morning and they orderd a new one but now i gotta ride with no bass till it comes...sucks!!!!!!:mad:

I think your first problem is the wheel gap those suckers come with.

Lancer - what happened when it blew? Was it cranked loud? How were they about the warranty part? Was it a hassle? Also, who makes the sub?

yeah it was loud but for the month and a half ive had it it was like that, then all of a sudden i was driving home and the bass went from a rumble to it popping and sounded like ****. I took it to the dealer and they are going to replace it for me seeing as thats what its suppose to do was be loud. they were cool about it. Its a 650 watt rockford subwoofer. I just now have to wait until the one they orderd comes in...who knows how long that will take. I dont even have my ****ing license plate yet.:mad:

What I meant was if you playing it loud at the time it went out.

i say with a totally new model if your biggest problem is a blown subwoofer you're doing pretty good. i know it hasn't been that long but things could be much worse, like a motor mount bolt could snap

Mitsu isn't known for outstanding reliability, but hopefully these cars are reasonably reliable.

i tried taking pix but they didnt come out its nothing big they just told me to switch the rubber in the window.

Let us know if that works.

Are they actual scratches or are they streaks?

it scratches the tint they had to re-tint the windows

yeah i made them do it. they put the rubber piece then retinted it

ok so i got tired of waiting for my stupid dealership to answer me with wtf is going on with my sub so i sent an email directly to Rockford to see what they say. Then im gonna go to mitsubishi directly and get some answers. im tired of playin this lil game.

How often have you been in contact with your dealer about it? I bet since it's such a new car the parts availability isn't quite there yet. Like others have said though, it's something really simple, your first troubles with a car could be much worse. Maybe contact a Mitsubishi regional office?

every week i call them fools. I sent an email to Rockford directly and to mitsubishi. I also sent an email to another dealer and he replied already saying he is gonna try his best. But I have spoke with a couple other people in Mitsubishi-Forums.com and some have had the same problem. and 2 of them recieved there new one within 2 weeks. Thats why im so upset. And the fact that my dealer keeps saying there gonna call me back and never do...*******s
