the biggest thing (after you pick the set you want ofcourse) is either renting or using a spring compresser.

if you cant source one - just get a shop to do it and save yourself the hassle.

you can normally rent a spring compressor from your local auto store for free (just give them a Credit Card deposit). Other tip from doing spring/strut installs, you might need a tie rod tool to pop the tie rod out of the strut. I have some pics of my spring install on my old RSX on my site here:http://www.ivtecdaily.com/rsx/mods/springs.html

its not that hard. its going to be BASICALLY the same for any vehicle. my experience says to MOST DEFINATELY make sure the new spring is properly seated before you put the assembly back together. if you need to get your digi cam and take several pics of the assembly before you initially tear it down so you know exactly how the spring is suppose to sit in the perch.

Well 8 hours, 2 scuffed knuckles, $40.00 worth of tap and die sets (oops), and about 25 explicitives later I got the new springs on. I took pics, but have not had a chance to download them yet.

I broke off the top of the threaded rod on the shock trying to remove the nut. Then I got pissed off and instead of taking 2 seconds to think "Hey I should use the impact wrench sitting 3 feet from me to remove this nut!" I stuck it in the vice and screwed the threads all up!!! That was probably about 3 hours worth of time. It would have been nice to have someone else helping on the job too.
