Just curious, when your pcs working hard ( gaming or watching HD content) what sort of temperatures are you seeing with your MB and CPU?
I'm seeing 32-34 degrees celcius. (dual core athlon 4400). Is this normal or good? I was thinking of putting in more fans in the pc case and one into the cabinet that the pc is housed in to extract the heat from the cabinet.

That seems low to me! I haven't used anything but a laptop in quite some time though, so my temps are quite a bit higher. I mean, my CPU temp is 55˚C right now, and I'm not even doing anything.

Thats really good. I get down there sometimes during the winter when its not doing much. Usually im in the 50s when playing games. I just have an intel dual core 6600 or 6700. I got a full size case with 2 120mm fans in front and one in back. You are perfectly fine at those temps. Fans can always help but it will add more noise. 120mm and bigger arent too bad. I used to have a case with a bunch of 80mm fans and that thing sounded like a jet plane.

That's 90*F in moderate use. Sounds good to me.

In my experience with servers (and I've got about 6000 here to deal with), anything under 40C is excellent. AMD chips run hotter than similar MIPS speeds compared to Intel chips.

thats awesome thanks guys. I did notice a lot of heat coming from the cabinet, I guess its expelling the heat well anyway. I might just put a fan into the back of the cabinet to extract better. Its just a lmedia centre pc that I thought was working hard to keep cool when I was playing hd-dvd and blueray. (CPU usually runs at 90-96% capacity when playing hd-dvd's, hence my concern with heat)
