Lately it seems it is all the rage to post a dyno chart instead of a timeslip. I plan on buying an MR and doing some mods, but I don't give a $^!% about its whp, I wanna know how fast it will go. Can anyone with a modded x tell me what their 0-60 or 1/4 mile times are?

You know there is a drag section if you scroll down with a few people who already posted some times right?
13.4 was the best I have heard on a stock GSR. I am not sure about the MR as I don't own that and don't look into puny auto trannies...but you can find the girlie transmission version 1/4 of a mile time somewhere I am sure.
If you know a car's WHP you can get a pretty good estimate of it's 1/4 times.

Yes, as long as you know the weight also.
Yeah weight too.

I'm just sick of all these dyno queens. I would like to know that if I buy an MR and take it up the road to AMS to put on some stage package that adds, say 75 whp, that I will have a car that runs 0-60 in (let's say) 4.2 and the ss 1/4 mi in (say) 12.5 @110. My "calculated' speed won't blow off the M3 or Corvette at the light next to me; my "actual" speed will -- or I'm not dropping $45k on an Evo
If you dump enough money into the car you can run 11's easily.
I'm with you on this one. I've seen way too many dyno queens so big numbers mean nothing to me. I want to see 1/4 trap speeds. I think to see good 1/4 times, you'll have to upgrade the stock clutch so for me traps speeds will do. I saw this post on the other forum and it's exactly the time you were looking for - 12.5 @ 110mph but for a GSR. Considering he didn't have a custom tune or an upgraded intercooler, I thought that was a pretty good time.

At 110 mph traps, you won't be blowing away the new M3 or C6 vette but it'll be a pretty darn quick 4dr <--- if that's what you need.

LOL what...so instead of dyno queens u are trying to be drag queens? Hahaha. Personally I don't care about 1/4 time slips as I would prefer to be on a road course, setting lap times, instead of a drag strip....

to each his own... I like the drag strip since there aren't an road courses in my area. My best time when i was completely strock was 13.67. 550 ft sea level 102 degrees 30% humidity. It was hot as hell...
