am i hearing noisy tires or is there something wrong with my car? i have 6000 miles on the car. any input is greatly appreciated.

did you just notice the noise? Because the tires on the x isn't exaclty quiet

not really. but when i do not listen to music it gets really annoying. i think im just getting paranoid after reading a blown GSR transfercase thread.:mad:

Welcome to EVO's wind noise tyre noise thats what they are, try some yokohama AO-48'S then you will have real noise ,they sound like off roader tyres but they do stick like glue

Dumb questions maybe...but did you rotate em? I know on my MR its not exactly quiet...but its certainly not noisy either.

yes i did rotate my tires.

when you go higher and tires they are tend to be more noisy.
My R888 is not that bad, but boy some Advan's are really noisy. Almost like you have a barring problem. :)
It is a trade off, i guess.

I think this tires are pretty quiet. Now if you dont like noise i recomend you stay away from the KDW, now those are some loud tires.

time to go aftermarket

just read one complain from another forum regarding this loud noise. if i am listening to music i dont notice it.

Haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary on mine. I've been riding with the windows down most of the time as well.
