According to a local dealer in MD, the expiration date gets renewed as the deadline approaches. I think the last expiration date was Sep 30th.
And yes, they do stack. Im gonna go for the military rebate.

Ohh cool, thanks for the info. So do I need to fill it out before the expiration date to get to keep it longer or or do I just wait for the extension and do it when I'm going to get the car?

I'd wait and check the Mitsu website in Dec. If nothings changed, contact your local dealer and see what they can do for you. Are you gonna preorder your car?

Dino,

Just because you used it with Mazda, doesn't mean you can't use it with Mitsubishi. For the education edge rebate, all you need to do is one of two things:

1) Bring in a diploma from a registered 2 or 4 year college that shows you graduated within two calendar years from the current purchase date.

2) Bring in a letter from your registrar's office that attests that you will be graduating within one year of current purchase date.

Having used it with Mazda has no bearing on your ability to use it with Mitsubishi. =).

The rebates are stackable. I have a Marine Reserve friend who qualifies for all three. He has military, he just graduated from college and he currently owns a Lancer Evolution VIII. My dealership has no qualms about giving him all $1,500 in rebates. =).

Does the dealership give the rebate or does it come from Mitsubishi, or how does that work?

TriStateEvo

It comes from Mitsubishi. You can either apply it as cash at time of purchase or you can have it mailed directly to you. Your choice.

Lets hope they renew it.

They always end at the end of the month, but that is just to push a sense of urgency onto customers that look at the website. Simple marketing.

Like, how many times have you seen the same store do the 'GOING OUT OF BUSINESS' sale? Yet year after year they are still there. LoL.

PLease remember, you need to be ACTIVE military for the military discount. Veterans need not apply because apparently your service doesnt matter any more.

Have not seen this one posted, $500 for going to a auto show and asking the Mitsubishi rep for a cupon. This was posted on the Mitsubishi site under car shows locations.

Unfortunately the Auto Show rebate is not valid for the Evo, according to the fine print.

I just bought a 2008 EVO X GSR. I am not a motorhead. I would like to know what modifications would those of you who know what they are doing should I make to improve the performance. I was thinking the AMS intercooler, BOV, and catback exhaust..but I really have no idea what I am suggesting. Also, I live near Milwaukee WI and I have no idea who would put this stuff on for me. Any suggestions would help. I have spoken with the dealer who said Mitsi will still cover the warranty depending on the modifications.
